A chef driven eatery, Chef Andy Trousdale offers his exclusive "light" and simplified approach to classical cuisine,.transforming using a more modern approach to his menu. He sources his products from the best of the best including purveyors such as Bemka house of Caviar,  Gratitude Gardens, Allen Brothers meats and wild, local and sustainable seafood from Samuels and Sons to name a few.

Andy's lifelong dedication to the culinary arts began with humble beginnings in prestigious restaurants throughout the globe including: 

Three Star Michelin & Relais et Chateau establishments such as:

The Waterside Inn - Bray, England

Restaurant L'Oustau de Baumanière - Provence, France

Longueville Manor Hotel and Restaurant - Jersey, Channel Islands

 

A stint as a chef on a mega yacht brought him to Fort Lauderdale in 1992. Locally he was hired as the chef at the Plum Room at Yesterday's and The Blue Moon Fish Company. He then headed to the US Virgin Islands to open a restaurant in St. Thomas called Tavern on the Waterfront. It became time to head back to the mainland to open his own place and Le Bistro afforded Andy the perfect opportunity.

 

Co-owner Elin, is a graduate of the School of Culinary and Hospitality Management at Sullivan County Community College. She previously worked at the Plaza Hotel, The Drake & Mayflower Hotels in Manhattan.

 

Combined talents in Culinary & Hospitality for the past 24 years, Le Bistro is a "shining star" within the culinary landscape of Broward County.

 

Le Bistro is a quaint, cozy & quiet local restaurant serving well-prepared classical and innovative menu items.
