Riverdale Reunion

 

 

The idea of a reunion was presented to me since I own a lovely restaurant in South Florida and have already hosted 2 successful and joyous reunions over the past years.​

With more and more folks relocating to Florida, this event was intended to bring together a group of mid to late 60's adults for a nice dinner on a Saturday night. If the group grew to a high number, I was going to close the restaurant and make use of the entire restaurant to enable folks to more easily engage with each other rather than just sitting down at a table. 

 

We offered a fair priced delicious prix fixe menu inclusive of tax and gratuity to be prepaid which no one did.

The feedback was both surprising and disappointing. 

​

People asked for live entertainment (we play background music); a full bar, (we are licensed for wine and beer); finger food (the logistics to host an event at a small private restaurant on a Saturday night has to make sense). Some asked if the event was free, others asked for appetizers only. Some didn't want to travel (although they are 10 miles away). 

 

We are open to reservations for dinner for anyone who is interested in dining at Le Bistro. For anyone who still would like to connect with former Riverdalians at a lovely little French restaurant with great food and service, please plan accordingly and call for a reservation. We will be happy to offer 15% off your bill.
